FAQ
The game
How does it work?
Call White, Draw or Black in the game's first 8 moves. Each right call adds one. Your third wrong call ends the run.
How many runs do I get?
One a day, New York time. It's the one on the daily leaderboard. Play every day to keep your day streak going.
Can I keep playing after my run ends?
Yes: duel a friend, as often as you like. Add friends from the Friends tab to see how their runs went today.
When does a day end?
At midnight Eastern Time.
What happens if a game is aborted?
The call is void and your streak is unchanged.
Can I play more than one run a day?
No. Second accounts break the fair play rules.
Where do the chances come from?
Stockfish.
Where do the games come from?
Live public games on Lichess.
Can I watch the game on Lichess while I call it?
No. See the fair play rules.
How do duels work?
You and a friend call the same game. A right call is 20 points. You each guess one color's moves: +1 right, -1 wrong.
Winners and prizes
Is Blitzle free?
Yes.
How do I become the day's winner?
Have the day's best run, with 12 or more right. Your name goes on that day's page.
Who can be the day's winner?
Anyone with a free account.
Are there any prizes?
No. You play for your streak, the leaderboards and your duel record.
